Hello Folks!

Drinking: Water
Watching: Harper's Island

Hello all! I haven't posted in a while, I'm sorry! I don't really have a faithful enough following to feel bad, but I'm hoping that changes at some point, so I truly am sorry.

I told you all I was going to share a DIY I did a bit ago, here are the photo's.
Enjoy!

I painted the bottom part of this mug with chalk board paint. It turned out so well! I adore it! My co-workers loved it. Well, some of them.
My next creation? A coffee table made out of a pallet for my old boss! I hope it turns out well.

I'm going to wrap this up for right now. I hope you all have a fantastic evening!

The Avengers.

Hello all!

I saw The Avengers tonight with a handful of people. All of the showings we tried going to were sold out, so we ended up going to the Holland 7. It was a fantastic movie... I loved it so much. It satisfied my nerd side quite a bit. I did a bunch of research on the ending and I am excited to see what they'll do in the future with the movies.

I'll be putting up pictures of a DYI I did the other day. Stay tuned!

DIY: Classy Fridge Magnets

Drinking: Water
Listening: Neko Case

Hello hello!

This is my very first DIY post. I hope you all like these easy magnets as much as I do!

These are the items you'll need for this DIY...

-Elmers liquid glue
-Glue stick
-Credit card
-Paper punch
-Decorative flat glass marbles
-Cute paper

1. Punch out paper
2. Use the glue stick to adhere the paper to the flat side of the marble
3. Smooth out all air bubbles using credit card
4. Glue the magnet to the backside of the paper using the liquid glue
5. Let dry

They'll end up looking like this!

In other news, here are some pictures of the kiddos I watch on Sunday mornings...

All of these little ones make my heart so happy it could burst.

That's all for this evening. Hopefully I have another DIY tomorrow. I started it this morning, but had to wait overnight to complete. Oh, ps... I watched Dumb and Dumber for the first time today. Loved it! Now I understand the "pets heads falling off" joke Jordan tells all the time. Thank goodness. :)

Shalom, everyone!

A Case Of The Tuesdays.

Drinking: Coffee
Listening: Anberlin

Sometimes the morning commute into work is bad.
Sometimes it's terrible.
Today was terrible.
But, I was gently reminded by my newly graduated level 1 driving kid sister that my attitude needed a check.

Me: "Ugh! Why is everyone driving..."
Sally: "The speed limit? Gee. I don't know."

Thanks, Sally. You're youthful wisdom is actually a blessing in disguise.

My day is better now, thanks to this link from my friend Donna. It made my day.
