Tattoo time.

Drinking: Water
Listening: The Broken West

My kid sister got asked to her first prom this past weekend. I am so excited to take her dress shopping and all that jazz. It should be a blast. I don't love doing that kind of stuff, but there's something about baby sisters that brings it out in me.

I got my first tattoo yesterday. I adore it. I took these pictures in my mirror, so no worries. It's not backward. It's Hebrew for "Shalom"... I think it's great.

You know how people say that ink is addicting? Well... I already know what I want to do next. If not next  then at some point. Haha. I'll wait a couple years, though. I have other things I really want to get my hands on besides a body full of tattoos. Cotton wouldn't like that anyway, and I do care a little bit about his opinion. ;)

Josh and Steph Tovey are the youth leaders at my church and tonight is the last day they will be teaching. They're picking up and moving to North Carolina. It's been a blessing to serve with them. Tonight will be hard. I know it's tearing the kids apart, but we're all excited to see what the Lord will do with their willingness to serve in the future. They'll be a blessing where there going, it's just sad to see them leave. I'm bringing my camera along tonight, I'll post some pics later.

Francis Chan.

Drinking: Coffee (yummm)
Listening: Barcelona (Album: Absolutes)

Hello all.

I've been really busy, hence the no post for a couple days. I'm very excited though, because tonight i get to see Francis Chan speak here in town. I just bought tickets for Jordan and I online. Should be a great evening. I think some other folks are joining us, which will make it even better. Then hopefully I can wrap up my latest addiction; The Walking Dead. Jordan and I are 2 episodes away from finishing the second season. What's going to happen?! I'm on the edge of my seat.

I boasted a new idea on my Twitter and Facebook yesterday about trying a new hair style everyday for the next week or so. I started out strong with a fancy pants up-do-bun-thing. I like it a lot, but I'm ready to go home and take a shower. I'm working late tonight, so that will probably have to wait till after tonight's adventures. Maybe I'll throw in some yoga just to get it out of the way. I ran this morning, but I do love a little yoga in my daily routine.

At Alicia's

Listening: Ingrid Michaelson Pandora Radio & Nicks video game.

I'm at the site of the crafting adventure. My sewing machine broke right as I got here - so unfortunately I haven't made anything yet. Darnit. Nick is playing a video game and Leesh is organizing all of her recipes. I decided to blog a little bit, so here we go!

Few mention-able things that are fantastic...

1) My baby sister got her permit!
2) What would happen in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse and how would you survive? Follow the link and find out how. Yes please?
3) I really hope I can make a home like Alicia when I'm married.

I've also set a few goals in my life at the moment...
1. Develop my etsy store.
2. Play my guitar more.
3. Love my family to the fullest.
4. Blog daily.
5. Take more pictures.

Good night & shalom!

Craft Night.

Listening: A Day To Remember
Drinking: Iced Tazo "Passion" Tea

Tonight is craft night at Alicia's abode. I'm pumped to put some of my creative flow into a project. I haven't made anything in a while and I think I'm going to start again. My goal? Make my Etsy account into a thriving place to buy cool things and grab great ideas.

"What is the craft adventure you'll be embarking on," you ask?
Check out the picture below...

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to try the mustache idea today, or if I'll go for something more simple. What I do know is that I will post my completed project.

I'm reading "The Mammoth Book Of The Best Crime Comics" at the moment. I'll have you know that (so far) it's really interesting and good read. A lot of different graphic novel writers collaborated on it and it's really great to see all of their separate creativity coming together in one volume. I also love how the art changes from story to story because every chapter is a new story and is written and illustrated by someone different. Keeps you interested, that's for sure.

I don't have much more to say besides check out these sites...

1. A really interesting blog journey - www.pauljensencustom.blogspot.com/
2. I love Elizabeth Banks - www.elizabethbanks.com
3. I work for these guys, so chances are if you buy something from them I'm sending it to you. I'll even sign your packing list and write you a little note if you like! - www.polerstuff.com

5 Thoughts From This Morning.

Listening: City & Colour
Drinking: Harney & Sons Organic Peppermint (What's wonderful about this tea, you ask? Harney is a 1% for the environment member and it's a delicious morning brew!)

Girls night was smashing last evening. I was slightly bummed with 8th Streets service level. I've never had a problem there and for some reason last night everything was terrible. I had some great fellowship with close friends though, and eventually enjoyed delicious food, so I wont complain too much.

Here are my thoughts from this morning (and last night):
1) Tosh.0 tore this apart last night, but I still love it.
2) I have a pretty good idea of what I want my wedding ring to look like.
3) Sometimes I wish it was still the 90's so that I could enjoy the music on the radio.
4) I love Adele, but at some point this morning on the ride to work she was on 5 of my 6 presets. The 6th being a country station. Bullocks.
5) For The Love Of Beard provides me some serious chuckles when I'm feeling down. Keep it up!

Have a glorious day! Shalom!

Tea Tuesday

Drinking: Mango Passionfruit from @stashtea
Listening: The Young & Famous

Girls night tonight at 8th St. I'm rather excited. I rarely get a girls night out - this will be refreshing.
Mango Passionfruit is amazingly delicious. Not as good as my right-now favorite Melon Citrus Mint, but it is delightfully tasty on this sunny day.
It's the perfect day for a run after work.

FYI... You should check out the sale that Poler has going on right now. That's right. Shameless promotion for one of the companies I work for. Oh well.

Shalom, everyone.
