DIY // Polka Dot Mug

Drinking: Fizzie Water
Listening: Alt-J

As a lot of people know, I love coffee. Which means, I love mugs, too. I designed this mug for my shop several weeks ago, but I wanted you to see how I made it. It's super simple.

Materials:
Sealant (not pictured)
Hole Punch
Contact Paper
Oil Based Sharpie
Ceramic Mug

1. Punch holes in the contact paper. I chose to do a lot on this one, but I've made others that only had a row or two of dots. The possibilities are endless.

2. Stick the contact paper to the mug where you want the dots and color them in fully with the sharpie. Then bake according to the instructions on the back.
3. Finish with sealant.

Boom. You're done! Now you have a fancy pants mug to drink your snobby coffee out of. What could be better? Well... a lot of things, but who cares?

Are you guys making anything fun this week? I would love to hear about it! Show me via instagram or twitter @margeauxcotton.

Shalom
